Nigel Glover

Nigel GloverNigel Glover was professionally trained at the prestigious Western Culinary Institute, in the pacific northwest town of Portland, Oregon, where he specialized in classic French cuisine.  He then spent three years at Chef Thomas Keller's Yountville, California restaurant, The French Laundry, which was awarded three stars by San Francisco's Michelin guide for 6 years in a row.  Over the past two decades, Nigel's style of cooking has evolved, influenced by global adventures in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, and experiences working with a diverse range of cuisine.  First and foremost, Nigel passionately believes that the best-tasting food is organically and locally grown in ways that are ecologically sound by people who care for the land for future generations. Although born in the United Kingdom, raised in Canada, and currently living in Washington, DC, Nigel considers himself a citizen of the world and enjoys yoga, surfing, and drawing when not working on a menu or in the kitchen.
